Pushy Mothers®
Once you start pushing you’ll never stop
At Pushy Mothers we’re fed up with the media hype around celebrity mums who show off their miraculous weight loss and perfect bodies within weeks of their babies being born. It takes nine months to make a baby and for most women it’ll be at least nine months to get back on track doing the right exercises – not the abdominal crunches and running that many celebs and their trainers talk about. These type of exercises are not postnatal specific and could be dangerous.
So our message is Push Don’t Rush! to get your pre-baby body back.
To join our Push Don't Rush! campaign to get the media to stop piling the pressure on to mums of the UK and to give them the correct exercise information, to respect and celebrate motherhood and their post-baby body, email us at campaign@pushymothers.com. Include your address and we’ll send you a lovely FREE Push Don’t Rush! pin badge that you can wear with Mothers’ Pride of course.

Britain’s mums have had enough!
“I had postnatal depression and being confronted by pictures of celeb Mums looking thinner than I ever have within 2 weeks of giving birth did not help me at all - it just added to my general feeling of inadequacy.” Rebecca
“Stop piling the pressure on new mums of the UK, for us to get post baby weight off within weeks of giving birth.” Claire
“I think it's so important for new mothers to feel free to respect their bodies and the massive achievement that every new baby is and let nature take its course.” Aisla
