About Pushy Mothers

We’re not just talking buggies here.

The moment your baby arrived into the world you became a Pushy Mother. You’ll always want what’s best for your child and you’ll push as hard as you can to get it. But it’s all too easy to forget about yourself in the process. And that’s where we come in. The whole focus of a Pushy Mothers session is YOU.

Our ethos is to help you get back on track physically and emotionally, and we hope that this healthy lifestyle will be passed on to the next generation. Whatever the weather your instructor will be there for you to make your day either with a practical session or educational lecture. Our aim is to make you feel good and to empower you with the strength to cope with the challenge of motherhood.

We also hope you’ll make new friends, and share tips and tales with other mums in your area. Remember you can talk, but you must walk!

About Me

Rachel Berg:I started the wheels rolling on a grey winter’s day in November 2001. Having just had my first son, Max, I felt the need to get out of the house, get active and meet other like-minded new mums. As an experienced pregnancy and postnatal exercise specialist since 1997, I knew the benefits that fresh air and exercise would bring to mind and body. I formed my first ‘Buggy Brigade’, made great friends and soon got my pre-baby body back. Buggy Brigade grew into Pushy Mothers and the rest is history!

I feel very proud that I have made a difference to thousands of new mums, not only through my own classes, but through my fantastic national team of qualified Pushy Mothers instructors.
